A general introduction to autism which briefly defines the disorder, outlines diagnostic information, and provides information regarding characteristics.

• Sensory Supports for Persons with ASD's:

This training discusses key sensory supports to assist in sensory processing - refers to the ability to take in information through our senses (touch, movement, smell, taste, vision, and hearing), organize and interpret that information, and make a meaningful response.

• Peer Support and Persons with ASD's - What We Have Learned:

This training will discuss ways to include peers in supporting persons with ASD’s in a variety of settings, with specific examples of the trainers' experiences.
